Bvlgari Eau Parfumee Au The Bleu by Bvlgari Perfume. A flowery fragrance, Bvlgari Eau Parfumee Au The Bleu from Bvlgari is a women’s perfume that can be worn by men also. The top notes are shiso leaf and lavender while the middle notes are blue tea, oolong tea and violet. The base notes are creamy musk and iris blossom, which are warm scents that balance out the predominantly refreshing nature of the perfume. This is part of Bvlgari’s tea collection of fragrances and is presented in a blue flacon made of frozen glass, which was designed by renowned perfume bottle designer Thierry de Baschmakoff.
Bvlgari was founded in 1884 by Sotirio Bulgari, who opened his first shop in Rome, Italy. While Sotirio specialized in silver precious objects, his sons ventured into precious stones and jewels. The sons eventually took over the business from their father. By the 1970’s, the company expanded internationally. In the early 1990’s, it entered the high-end perfume market.
