It opens with the resonating citrus tones of elemi, bergamot, mandarin and lemon with flourishes of lavender, ginger and petitgrain. After the stunning force of the top notes, the heart adds just a touch of softness with rose, jasmine and cashmeran while hints of balsam, cypriol and cedar play in the background. A base including vetiver, oud, patchouli, cinnamon, amber and musk completes this 2014 perfume. Like many fragrance oils, this one retains its brilliance throughout the day without much effort and can be used sparingly for full potency.
