Curaro V by Canto Perfume. A warm and embracing woody balsamic gourmand, Curaro V layers ethereal yet earthy florals over a serene heart and base of precious wood, warm spice and unforgettable oud. Opening notes are enveloping and effusive, mingling heady jasmine and lush magnolia with earthy nuances of iris and patchouli. Intoxicating rose absolute blooms next, accompanied by rich, subtly animalic Indian oud, vetiver, tonka bean and smooth sandalwood subtly spiced with cinnamon and cardamom. At the base sensual wood deepens to a rich finish of fruity, spicy Cambodian oud mingled with creamy caramel, powdery orris, vanilla absolute and cedar, leaving a velvety, tranquil trail with hidden intensity.
Created by perfumer Paolo Terenzi, Curaro was first released in 2018. The scent belongs to the dangerously seductive Green Collection by Terenzi’s niche label V Canto. Other compositions in this poison-inspired series include the woody floral citrus scent Ricina, the sweet fruity tropical Cianuro and Arsenico.
